A Dive in Bonaire On The Buddy Dive House Reef

A Dive in Bonaire On The Buddy Dive House Reef

The Buddy Dive house reef is a dream to dive on. The entry is easy; you just walk down the stairs into the water. You put your fins on in the water and descend. A rope shows you to the reef. Not that it is really a requirement as the water is so clear.

The reef itself is healthy and has abundant life. Our fist dive we encountered a Manta (this always happens when no camera is present). This was world class diving I thought after doing my first kicks under the ocean in Bonaire

The reef goes to about 60 feet 20 meters. Our average depth was about 30 feet and 10 meters. We moved slowly not to miss anything. There is so much to see. Buddy Dive also have coral farm where they grow coral to be transplanted in areas that required it.

Exiting is as easy as entering the water. Rinse tanks for your gear and a shower to rinse salt of your face are right at the water’s edge. If you are staying with Buddy Dive the gear room is right at the stairs, and you pick up a tank from the tank room in the same location.

This is the easiest diving I had ever done. You make your hours, dive length. Nobody is standing over you
