Description
On a recent dive trip to Turks and Caicos, aboard the T&C Aggressor, while diving on a plane wreck, one of the boat crew came by with a bag of Lion Fish.
The next day, at another dive site, the Lionfish went into a bait trap and the trap was moved cautiously by the crew to a patch of sand.
Almost immediately, Reef Sharks, Nurse sharks and other fish were attracted to the bait trap.
The sharks continued to investigate the trap for more than an hour, providing many great opportunities to video and photo these magnificent animals- up close and personal.
Finally, the lid of the bait trap was removed (remotely) and the trapped Lion Fish provided a small and rapid feeding frenzy.
The empty bait trap continued to attract the attention of Reef Sharks, Grouper, Yellow Tails and Nurse Sharks for quite some time.
